If the very news we announce is "we're not Fedora/Redhat", people will
associate this to us anyway (because asking immediately "why not?").

What I mean is that we have to be super clear and short about what the
news will be, from our side; and it must be a single message, so
people can remember it for what it is (and not for what it's not).
 - "Welcome, Mandriva, seriously"
 - "Mandriva joins Mageia for its server product"
 - "Mandriva uses Mageia for its server product" - we don't have a
different name for the project and for the product (that would have
been more clear to say that Mandriva was going to use and customize X
as a platform for their server, while just being a contributor to
project Y, whose governance is left unchanged).
 - "Mageia will stay as it is, no change to governance"
 - "A new Mageia-based/derivative corporate product on its way"

Or, we can be super neutral, like saying: "cool, there's a new company
using our technology for its products".

And yes, we need to prepare the Q/A session after, but I don't think
we should include it in the very release, if the release is short and
clear enough.

We must be especially careful, because there's a second announcement
pending from Mandriva (and which may be announced first actually,
tomorrow - Anne will send another mail about it), that's the
foundation of their own Mandriva Linux community entity (likely a
foundation, or so they say) and we will have to react to it as well
and explain why (and this one will need to have a short as well title,
plus a clear, limited rationale).

And depending on the timing, people may confuse the two announcements
- best for us, I believe, would be that they announce their foundation
first.

Let's not forget the bottom line of all this, that's utterly positive
in my view:
 - Mandriva is going to use Mageia as a technology platform;
 - we're going to have to think, discuss and take a stance in regard
of their foundation project.
